What you will taste

The Lafarge family has farmed Volnay since the 1800s and helped write the village's reputation for lace-like Pinot Noir. Biodynamic before it was fashionable, they make wine of transparence: cherry and redcurrant, rose petal, a forest-floor shadow, tannins like fine thread. The 2022 vintage gave charm early; the authority underneath is permanent.
