What you will taste
La Conseillante's violet label has not changed in a century and a half, and neither has its style: Pomerol at its silkiest. The 2019 pours plum and black cherry in weightless velvet, violets rising, a truffle shadow beneath. Merlot from blue clay does this nowhere else. One of Bordeaux's most quietly adored wines, drinking beautifully now.
