Pauillac makes Bordeaux's most powerful wines, and Pichon Comtesse is its famous exception: power worn as velvet. The countess who gave the château her name insisted on elegance, and the 2019 keeps her word: cassis threaded with violets, cedar and cocoa, tannins like heavy silk.
