What you will taste
Haut-Brion was famous before fine Bordeaux existed: Samuel Pepys praised it by name in 1663, and the 1855 ranking had to include this Graves estate among the Médoc firsts. The 2019 shows the house signature: cassis and plum wrapped in warm smoke, cedar and a gravelly depth no neighbour can copy. The original first growth, still speaking first.
