What you will taste
Marqués de Riscal founded modern Rioja in 1858 and never left the stage: today its winery wears a Frank Gehry building of rippling titanium. XR is the cellar master's selection, aged the classic way: black cherry and plum rounded by American oak vanilla, a first note of leather, tannins with old-school manners. Rioja as the founders intended, in a space-age frame.
