Bordeaux, France · Château Rauzan-Ségla · Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
A great Margaux estate at the top of its game: violets and cassis stitched together with couture precision.
Delivered in ~30 minutes, anywhere in Monaco
Rauzan-Ségla is one of the historic names of Margaux, and for the last decades it has been owned by the house of Chanel, which explains something about its style: structure treated like tailoring. The 2020 is deep and polished, cassis and violet over cocoa and cedar, with tannins cut clean and fine. It is powerful wine that never raises its voice.
The sommelier’s note
«Decant an hour ahead and serve at 17 degrees. Fine glassware genuinely matters here: the perfume is half the wine.»
From the first pour to the last glass — follow it through the evening.
