Officially a fifth growth, Lynch-Bages has been drinking like a first for half a century, which is why sommeliers call it the people's first growth. The 2018 is opulent Pauillac: deep cassis and cocoa with the estate's signature cool mint thread, tannins ripe and massive yet polished. A bottle that makes an occasion out of an ordinary date.
