Bordeaux, France · Château Laroque · Merlot
A vast medieval estate reborn: classed-growth Saint-Émilion Merlot, plummy, truffley and quietly superb value.
Delivered in ~30 minutes, anywhere in Monaco
Laroque is one of Saint-Émilion's oldest and largest properties, with a real medieval tower among the vines, and since 2015 it has quietly become one of the best-value classed growths of the appellation. The 2017 is pure old-vine Merlot: ripe plum and black cherry, a truffle shadow, tannins polished smooth. Grand Cru Classé written in a warm, human hand.
