What you will taste
Herdade dos Grous, the estate of the cranes, is an Alentejo farm around a long blue lake where the birds actually stop each winter. Its red is the region's welcome in a glass: ripe black cherry and plum, a soft vanilla polish, herbs from the warm plains. Plush, generous and reliably delicious: southern Portugal doing what it does best.
