Pauillac's biodynamic pioneer in a great vintage: pure cassis, violet and energy from vines farmed like a garden.
Delivered in ~30 minutes, anywhere in Monaco
Pontet-Canet did what no other great Pauillac dared: it converted entirely to biodynamics, ploughing with horses among vines facing Mouton Rothschild. The 2019 shows why the gamble became a triumph: vivid cassis and violet, pepper and cedar, tannins that are firm yet somehow fresh. It is classic Pauillac with an extra pulse of life, and one of the most admired wines of its year.
The sommelier’s note
«A full hour in the decanter is the minimum for this young vintage. Serve at 17 degrees and plan a proper main course around it.»
From the first pour to the last glass — follow it through the evening.
