Bordeaux, France · Château Léoville Barton · Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot
Saint-Julien's steadfast classic: two centuries of one family, cedar and cassis built to last decades.
Delivered in ~30 minutes, anywhere in Monaco
The Barton family has owned this estate since 1826, longer than any other family in the Médoc, and the wine tastes like that kind of patience: pure Cabernet-led claret, cassis and cedar, firm and honest, made to age. The 2019 is one of the finest recent vintages, generous enough to enjoy tonight after a good decant, structured enough to bury in a cellar for twenty years.
The sommelier’s note
«Decant a full hour and serve at 17 degrees. This is claret in its Sunday best: give it proper food and unhurried company.»
From the first pour to the last glass — follow it through the evening.
On arrival

The cedar depth arrives and the fruit turns sweet at the core. Classic claret at full height.
90 min · Last glass
Long, composed, quietly grand: two centuries of habit in one finish.
