A classed-growth Pauillac with a decade of cellar behind it: cassis mellowed into tobacco and leather.
Delivered in ~30 minutes, anywhere in Monaco
Grand-Puy Ducasse ages its wine in cellars right on the Pauillac quayside, and this 2011 has done its sleeping: the young cassis has softened into tobacco, cedar and leather, the tannins are round and calm. Drinking a classed growth at this age is a different pleasure from drinking one young; smoother, wiser, ready without any waiting.

From the first pour to the last glass — follow it through the evening.
On arrival
Stand it upright, decant slowly off the sediment, and let a decade of patience pour out.
