What you will taste
Deu la Deu is named after a local heroine who, legend says, saved Monção from a siege with cunning and two loaves of bread. Her town happens to be the homeland of Alvarinho, and this is the classic local version: ripe peach and apricot, a twist of orange, a saline Atlantic edge. Fuller than most Vinho Verde and proud of its roots.
